Dr. Kai Leong
Dr. Kai Leong is a multi-modality imaging cardiologist and consultant at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. A University of Melbourne honours graduate, he completed his dual training in general medicine and cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, followed by an echocardiography fellowship there. Awarded an EACVI/ESC grant, he pursued advanced cardiac MRI and CT training at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. Dr. Leong is a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE), European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (FEACVI) and Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR).

A/Prof. James Wong
A/Prof. James Wong is the Head of Noninvasive Cardiology and Deputy Director of Cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. A University of Melbourne graduate (1985), he trained in cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and earned a PhD in vascular biology at the Baker Medical Research Institute. A/Prof. Wong completed postdoctoral training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA. A recipient of the 1998 Young Investigators Award from the American Society of Echocardiography for his work on ultrasound-facilitated gene therapy, he specializes in heart failure, valvular heart disease, and cardiac ultrasound.

Dr. Helen Thompson
Dr. Helen Thompson is a non-invasive cardiologist with expertise in cardiac ultrasound and stress echocardiography. She trained at The Prince Charles Hospital and earned a PhD from the University of Queensland, supported by the Prince Charles Clinical Fellowship and NH&MRC Postgraduate scholarships, focusing on baroreceptor function. She completed an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, USA. With appointments at the Alfred Hospital, Dr. Thompson leverages her research-driven insights to enhance diagnostic precision, maintaining a passion for advancing non-invasive cardiology through her clinical work.

Dr. Pavithra Jayadeva
Dr. Pavithra Jayadeva is a cardiologist specializing in non-invasive imaging, with a focus on echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. She completed her cardiology training in Melbourne, followed by a clinical echocardiography fellowship at University Health Network, Toronto General Hospital, focusing on structural heart disease and congenital echo. Holding an appointment at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as an echocardiologist, Dr. Jayadeva is committed to improving patient outcomes through advanced imaging techniques and her expertise in heart failure management.

Dr. AiVee Ng
Dr. AiVee Ng is a cardiologist with expertise in echocardiography and general cardiology. She completed her medical degree and advanced cardiology training at Queen Elizabeth and Royal Adelaide Hospitals, followed by General Echocardiography Fellowships at the National Heart Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital. She also completed an Echo Research Fellowship in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dr. Ng is dedicated to advancing echocardiography through her clinical research, with a special interest in congenital heart disease and diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Homa Forotan
Dr. Homa Forotan is a multi-modality imaging cardiologist with appointments at Western Health, Melbourne Private Hospital, and John Fawkner Hospital. She completed her cardiology training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and pursued an advanced imaging fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, focusing on cardiac CT and CMR. An honorary research fellow at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, she is a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and accredited by SCCT and SCMR, contributing to advancements in cardiac imaging through her clinical and research roles.

Dr. Ian Goh
Dr. Ian Goh is a general cardiologist with a focus on preventive cardiology, heart failure, and structural heart disease. A Monash University honours graduate, he completed cardiology training at Canberra Hospital, Geelong, and Victorian Heart Hospital, following basic physician training at University Hospital Geelong. Currently, he is pursuing a two-year imaging fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, specializing in echocardiography, CT, and MRI.
